Senior Node Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Develop microservices and APIs for a major client in the payments industry.

• Assist team members with business and technology-related inquiries.

• Support the tech lead with minor adjustments to documentation and processes.

• Communicate effectively and confidently with clients.

• Take the initiative to address everyday challenges faced by the team.

• Participate in rituals with our clients.

• Collaborate with the team to understand business and technical solutions.

• Gather technical activity requirements.

• Implement APIs and microservices.

⛳️ Requirements

• Strong knowledge of Node.js and its primary frameworks (especially Nest.js).

• Experienced in versioning projects with GIT in a team environment.

• Understand the processes of code review, merging, etc.

• Capable of following best development practices, including unit and integration testing, and continuous integration (Jenkins).

• Produce simple, clean, and readable code.

• Knowledge of Design Patterns (GoF).

• Familiarity with both relational and non-relational databases (MongoDB and Oracle).

• Ability to work with different types of applications (APIs, Workers).

• Experience in creating REST APIs.

• Experience with Hexagonal Architecture.

• Experience with Domain-Driven Design (DDD).

• Familiarity with message queue communication (IBM MQ/RabbitMQ).

• Knowledge of Object-Oriented Programming.

• Familiarity with Kubernetes/OpenShift.

• Experience with BDD and TDD.

• Experience with Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery.
