Senior Network Operations Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Poland.

📋 Description

• Conducting investigations and resolving routing and switching issues within extensive network infrastructures.

• Diagnosing backbone and fabric network topology problems.

• Leading and facilitating the resolution of critical technical incidents.

• Serving as a subject matter expert during incident response and operational evaluations.

• Designing, developing, and maintaining alerts, runbooks, dashboards, and monitoring solutions to enhance fault detection and operational awareness.

• Installing, configuring, and optimizing network infrastructure while creating operational tools, automation, and technical documentation to support it efficiently and effectively.

⛳️ Requirements

• Possess a background in computer science, information technology, or a related field.

• Have substantial, long-term experience in operating and supporting large-scale network environments.

• Exhibit excellent communication, stakeholder management, and customer service abilities.

• Hold expertise in IP networking, routing, and switching, with certifications such as CCNA, JNCIA, or equivalent.

• Have experience in operating and troubleshooting service provider networks and Internet routing protocols, including BGP, IS-IS, OSPF, and MPLS.

• Have experience in writing, modifying, and troubleshooting SQL queries.
