This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Oversee the technical delivery of enterprise network initiatives, encompassing SD-WAN implementations, firewall migrations, switching enhancements, wireless setups, and network redesigns.
• Diagnose complex network problems within client environments and ascertain root causes.
• Collaborate with project managers on defining scope, timelines, and execution strategies.
• Act as the technical authority on implementation tasks.
• Work alongside technicians on escalated support inquiries.
• Record solutions, uphold technical documentation, and formulate knowledge base entries.
• Relay technical insights, risks, and suggestions to clients and stakeholders with varying technical backgrounds.
• Provide mentorship to Tier 1 and Tier 2 engineers.
• Monitor time, project activities, ticket updates, and client assignments through ConnectWise.
• Engage in continuous certification training.
• Solid hands-on experience in leading enterprise network projects from the design phase through to implementation.
• In-depth technical understanding of routing, switching, firewalls, SD-WAN, wireless frameworks, and high-availability design.
• Capability to diagnose intricate issues by comprehensively assessing client environments.
• Proficient written communication skills for documentation, diagrams, knowledge articles, and updates for clients.
• Ability to articulate technical issues to stakeholders with varying levels of technical expertise.
• Comfort in navigating multiple client environments while managing scheduled tasks alongside urgent issues.
• Practical knowledge of QoS for voice and video traffic, 802.1x, authentication systems, and multi-vendor enterprise networking.
• Minimum of 3 years of network engineering experience, including responsibility for enterprise implementations.
• Experience in MSP, consulting, or other multi-client settings is highly preferred.
• Familiarity with Cisco, Fortinet, Palo Alto, Meraki, or similar enterprise networking technologies.
• Competence in reading and producing maintainable network documentation and diagrams.
• Certifications such as CCNP, Fortinet NSE7, or Palo Alto PCNSE are valued; equivalent practical experience will also be considered.
• Must possess eligibility to work in the United States.
