Senior Network Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in North Carolina.

📋 Description

• Develop and implement resilient and effective solutions for network infrastructure platforms.

• Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to outline and achieve project scope, objectives, and deliverables.

• Engage in project planning sessions, daily stand-ups, and backlog meetings to monitor progress and resolve issues.

• Recognize areas for improvement to optimize processes and methodologies.

• Keep documentation current, including network diagrams, configurations, and procedures.

• Carry out additional responsibilities and special projects as assigned.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field of experience.

• Experience in a project-based working environment.

• Minimum of five years of networking and practical experience with:

• Routing and switching (Cisco routers and switches, VMware SD-WAN)

• Firewalls (Palo Alto, NSX, and ASA)

• Load Balancers (F5, AVI)

• Palo Alto Next-Generation Firewall Engineer certification (preferred)

• Palo Alto Network Security Analyst certification (preferred)

• Azure Network Engineer certification (preferred)

• F5 certification (preferred)

• AlgoSec certification (preferred)

• Automation experience (preferred)
