Level 2 NOC Systems Administrator – Network Focus

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.

📋 Description

• Provides Systems Administration support for a department, functional unit, or line of business.

• Manages development, test, and production servers, including tasks such as reloading, re-imaging, and troubleshooting issues.

• Installs, removes, and upgrades software packages on test, development, and production servers.

• Conducts daily monitoring of network systems, taking independent proactive measures to ensure functionality, connectivity, and load balancing.

• Diagnoses issues within systems and host environments, identifying and resolving faults, inconsistencies, and systemic challenges.

• Assesses, recommends, and implements solutions to maintain systems functionality and compliance with organizational standards.

• Generates network and systems evaluation and operational reports.

• Updates systems records to ensure the maintenance of accurate information.

• Verifies that the computer programs used by the company are properly licensed, comply with company standards, and are operational.

• Aids systems users by creating instructional how-to guides and providing technical information and training.

⛳️ Requirements

• BA/BS degree with 2-4 years of relevant experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

• This position may necessitate access to export-controlled commodities and technology. Consequently, to comply with U.S. export control regulations, applicants must be eligible for any required authorizations from the U.S. Government.
