Senior Network Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Designing, reimagining, and implementing connectivity, security, delivery, and monitoring services associated with virtual networks, VPN, NAT gateways, DNS, load balancers, web application firewalls, application gateways, and more.

• Significant experience in networking within large enterprise settings, including WAN, LAN, data centers, and cloud infrastructures.

• Design, deploy, and oversee cloud-based network solutions utilizing Azure, GCP, and AWS platforms.

• Formulate and execute strategies for smooth cloud integration, encompassing hybrid cloud environments.

• Familiarity with HPE Aruba network solutions, covering both wireless and wired networking.

• Experience in designing and implementing BGP routing policies to guarantee optimal path selection and effective traffic engineering.

• Continuously adapts and refines architecture, configuration standards, and protocols in collaboration with Infrastructure and Security teams.

• Well-versed in network security best practices and integration techniques.

• Developing, designing, and executing a comprehensive network roadmap, architecture, standards, and governance.

• Monitor network performance utilizing advanced tools and techniques, proactively identifying and resolving issues.

• Participate in ongoing process development, enhancement, and automation of Perimeter Defense-related solutions and support activities.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth network operations.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of experience in designing, deploying, maintaining, and enhancing both on-premises and cloud networks.

• Familiarity with cloud networking technologies, including VNETs, ExpressRoute, User Defined Routes, Network Security Groups, Load Balancers, Application Gateways, DNS, Route Servers, and Network Managers.

• Proficient in configuring and managing Cisco and HPE Switches.

• Extensive knowledge of core networking technologies such as TCP/IP, STP, HSRP, NAT, QoS, SNMP, and SYSLOG.

• Expertise in routing technologies, particularly BGP.

• Understanding of ITIL and change management processes.

• A self-starter with a high energy level to meet the demands of a fast-paced business and IT environment.
