Senior Network Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Design, plan, and execute secure local area networks (LANs), wide area networks (WANs), and wireless environments.

• Configure and manage network infrastructure, which includes routers, switches, firewalls, load balancers, and VPNs.

• Monitor network performance, assess bandwidth usage, and proactively troubleshoot issues related to connectivity, latency, and availability.

• Provide support for incident management and deliver Level 2/3 technical assistance for network and infrastructure environments.

• Implement and oversee security measures, including firewall configurations, intrusion detection/prevention systems (IDS/IPS), and endpoint protection strategies.

• Conduct regular security audits to ensure compliance with organizational standards and cybersecurity best practices.

• Develop, document, and uphold disaster recovery and backup plans to guarantee business continuity.

• Keep precise technical documentation, including network diagrams, configurations, and operational procedures.

• Collaborate with global IT and infrastructure teams to enhance network architecture, scalability, and reliability.

• Assist with cloud networking initiatives and hybrid infrastructure environments (AWS, Azure).

• Ensure adherence to internal policies, procedures, and network security standards.

• Provide backup support for the network team as necessary, ensuring operational continuity.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.

• Proficiency in English, capable of participating in daily meetings and preparing reports for the U.S. headquarters.

• 3 to 5+ years of experience in network administration, infrastructure engineering, or similar roles.

• Solid understanding of networking concepts and protocols, including TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, VLANs, and Layer 3 environments.

• Practical experience with network hardware such as routers, switches, firewalls, and VPN technologies.

• Familiarity with network monitoring and troubleshooting tools.

• Knowledge of cybersecurity practices, including IDS/IPS and endpoint protection.

• Understanding of cloud networking models (AWS, Azure) and virtualized environments.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to address complex technical issues.

• Effective communication skills with the capability to collaborate with global, cross-functional teams.

• Excellent documentation and technical writing skills.
