Senior Network Administrator

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Colorado.

📋 Description

• Design, implement, and oversee the network infrastructure, which mainly includes network switches, routers, and firewalls.

• Ensure the stability, security, and efficiency of our network operations.

• Support our mission-critical functions and organizational objectives.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline is preferred.

• Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP) certification or at least 5+ years of equivalent experience.

• Extensive experience (10+ years) in network administration, ideally in settings that utilize Cisco networking equipment.

• Strong understanding of TCP/IP protocols, LAN/WAN configuration, routing protocols (such as OSPF and BGP), and principles of network security.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Terminal Services, including Gateway Broker and RD web.

• Provide prompt, customer-focused support to staff throughout the organization.

• Collaborate across departments with Coalition staff to enhance and contribute to the achievement of program objectives, culture, and a positive work environment.

• Ability to establish and maintain relationships both internally and externally that inspire, guide, and/or reinforce the performance of others towards achieving goals.

• Approach tasks with thoroughness and consistency, valuing precision and careful review of work to ensure excellent outcomes.

• Capable of communicating information clearly and effectively through various media to diverse audiences.

• Ability to manage multiple projects in a dynamic environment alongside respective stakeholders.
