Senior .NET Developer, IoT

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Philippines.

📋 Description

• Design and create high-performance backend services using C#.

• Architect solutions that are cloud-agnostic and can be deployed on AWS, GCP, Azure, or on-premises.

• Develop and maintain REST APIs with an emphasis on performance and scalability.

• Implement real-time event-driven systems, which include push notifications, web hooks, and messaging services.

• Design and optimize systems utilizing PostgreSQL and Redis for use cases involving relational data, caching, and live data synchronization.

• Ensure observability via Sentry or similar monitoring tools for performance tracing.

• Implement robust API security measures (OAuth2/OIDC, JWT, rate limiting, input validation).

• Oversee configuration synchronization and maintain state consistency between devices and cloud environments.

• Build and deploy containerized services leveraging Docker and CI/CD pipelines.

• Uphold exceptional standards for code quality, SQL optimization, and documentation.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline.

• Over 8 years of experience in backend development using C#.

• Demonstrated success in designing scalable and modular microservices.

• In-depth knowledge of PostgreSQL and Redis for managing real-time and relational data, with preferred experience in MS SQL.

• Extensive experience in building REST APIs from schema design to integration.

• Strong understanding of API security protocols, authentication, and authorization.

• Proficient in using Docker, CI/CD pipelines, and DevOps practices.

• Experience with processing background jobs and working with event-driven systems.

• Familiarity with cloud-agnostic design principles for deployment across multiple environments.

• Experience with event-driven architectures such as MQTT, Kafka, RabbitMQ, etc.

• Excellent communication skills coupled with a collaborative mindset.
