Senior .NET Developer, Conversational AI

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Contribute to the development, enhancement, and upkeep of conversational text (WhatsApp) and voice (IVR) bots, emphasizing generative AI solutions and the creation of intelligent conversational flows utilizing LLMs integrated with messaging platforms and APIs;

• Engage directly with internal clients to comprehend requirements, suggest technical solutions, and actively take part in squad refinement activities;

• Create conversation flows — both text and voice — prioritizing user experience and ensuring alignment with business needs;

• Integrate bots with APIs, legacy systems, and messaging platforms;

• Leverage AI tools to expedite development and enhance code quality, actively fostering a culture of AI adoption within the squad;

• Write and review automated tests to ensure the quality and stability of deliverables;

• Document technical solutions and developed flows, maintaining accessible knowledge for the team;

• Identify and suggest improvements for both technical aspects and user experience of existing bots;

• Collaborate with the QA team during the validation and acceptance of deliveries;

• Share technical insights with the team collaboratively, contributing to the collective growth of the squad;

⛳️ Requirements

• Experience in developing conversational solutions or automations integrated with APIs and messaging platforms;

• Practical experience with projects involving generative AI and LLMs;

• Demonstrated experience working in agile squads, actively participating in technical refinement and end-to-end deliveries;

• Strong proficiency in C# / .NET;

• Experience with REST and SOAP API integration;

• Familiarity with WhatsApp Business API;

• Proficiency in Git flow and version control;

• At least 2 years of experience in conversational bot development projects (text and/or voice);

• Experience with production support and maintenance is a plus;

• Conceptual knowledge of voice protocols for IVR (VoIP, SIP, VoiceXML) — further technical training will be provided in the role;

• Preferred: Experience utilizing LLMs in real projects (OpenAI, Claude, Gemini, or similar);

• Ability to craft and iterate prompts for various purposes — including code generation, conversational responses, and task automation;

• Use of AI-assisted coding tools (GitHub Copilot, Cursor, or similar) in daily development tasks;

• Capability to critically assess AI-generated outputs, identify limitations, and adapt approaches accordingly;
