Senior .NET Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Portugal.

• Plan and estimate development tasks as part of the SCRUM team, ensuring accuracy while meeting deadlines.

• Contribute throughout the complete development lifecycle of new features and enhancements for both greenfield and existing applications.

• Dedication to delivering high-quality, high-performance, and robust software within agreed timeframes and quality standards.

• Involve yourself in modifications and continuous enhancements to current software development, testing, and deployment processes.

• Capability to actively participate in a fast-paced, agile environment, supporting your colleagues as needed.

• Ability to collaborate effectively within a team and with various business and technical groups.

• Skills

• Over 5 years of experience in .NET development.

• Over 5 years of experience in C# development.

• Strong practical expertise in JavaScript, Typescript, HTML, and CSS.

• Proficient in unit testing frameworks such as Jest, Mocha, NUnit, Moq, etc.

• Experience in building RESTful APIs.

• Familiarity with ASP.NET Core MVC.

• Knowledge of CSS pre-processing tools like SASS, SCSS, or LESS.

• Experienced in using Git and related contribution workflows (feature branches, pull requests, etc.).

• Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.

• Strong understanding of Relational Databases, SQL, and ORM technologies (Entity Framework, Dapper, etc.).

• Proficient in leveraging Microsoft Azure.

• Experience with test-driven development and behavior-driven development.

• Familiarity with SpecFlow (optional).

• Experience with Agile Development methodologies and SCRUM.

• Knowledge of Azure DevOps practices such as CI/CD, Continuous Testing, and Infrastructure as Code.

• BSc degree or higher in engineering, or equivalent experience.

• Expertise in back-end software engineering, including data models, persistence layers, back-end services, caching strategies, API design and implementation, and asynchronous messaging.
