Senior .NET, Blazor Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Mexico.

📋 Description

• Collaborate with product owners and UX/design teams to transform an existing portal into a contemporary UI using Blazor: modifying layouts, updating components, and enhancing user flows.

• Create front-end features utilizing C#/Blazor, primarily employing UI components (especially with Syncfusion Blazor) as the main delivery mechanism.

• Utilize Visual Studio 2022 as your primary integrated development environment to construct, test, and debug the UI.

• Develop and execute API request/response tests using Postman (or similar tools) to facilitate front-end integration with back-end services.

• Convert design/UX modifications into technical specifications: adjustments to interfaces, component configurations, responsive behaviors, data bindings, and state management.

• Collaborate with back-end engineers to connect the UI with existing APIs and services, managing data retrieval, error handling, and user flows.

• Ensure code quality, maintainability, and performance by writing clean, modular UI code, adopting best practices, and designing for reusability and future extensibility.

• Engage in code reviews, work collaboratively within teams, mentor junior UI developers, and contribute to the UI component library/code standards.

• Prioritize delivering exceptional UI experiences while adhering to time-to-market requirements: as we modernize the portal, you will play a vital role in shaping both the execution and architecture of the UI layer.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of five years of software development experience within the .NET ecosystem (C#, .NET 5/6/7 or later) with practical experience in building UI using Blazor.

• Proven experience employing Blazor components (preferably including Syncfusion Blazor components) to create user interfaces, manage data binding, events, state management, and dynamic layouts.

• Familiarity with Visual Studio 2022 as your primary development environment.

• Proficient in using Postman (or similar tools) to validate and test API endpoints consumed by your front-end UI.

• Strong grasp of front-end technologies and UI design patterns: component-based architecture, reactivity, state management, responsive design, and performance considerations.

• Capability to translate UX/design specifications into functional UI code: you can interpret a design, understand its purpose, discuss alternative layouts, and construct the interface accordingly.

• Ability to collaborate effectively with back-end engineers and product/UX stakeholders, bridging design intentions, technical limitations, and business requirements.

• Exceptional problem-solving abilities, attention to detail, and a dedication to delivering high-quality user experiences.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills (English and/or Spanish preferred depending on the region) and comfort working in asynchronous, remote team environments across LATAM time zones.
