Senior .NET Backend Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ireland.

• Become part of a fully remote, mission-oriented team focused on sustainable inflight service management.

• Contribute to innovative technological solutions that have a global impact.

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend systems and APIs.

• Manage projects from the initial concept and design phase through to development, testing, implementation, and ongoing maintenance.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and convert them into effective technical solutions.

• Offer technical guidance to fellow team members within the backend team.

• Lead code review sessions to ensure compliance with best practices and uphold high-quality coding standards.

• Adhere to best practices for automated testing, deployment, and monitoring to boost system stability.

• Diagnose and resolve complex technical issues promptly to minimize downtime and disruptions.

• Participate in an on-call rotation.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 5 years of professional experience in backend software development.

• At least 3 years of experience with .NET (C#, ASP.NET Core, Entity Framework Core).

• Demonstrated experience in designing and developing scalable APIs.

• Proficient in SQL databases (e.g., SQL Server).

• Strong expertise in unit testing, integration testing, and automated testing frameworks.

• Comprehensive understanding of security best practices, including authentication and authorization.

• Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with product managers, designers, and front-end engineers.

• Ability to proactively identify and resolve performance bottlenecks.

• Must possess fluency in English at a C1 level or higher.
