Senior .Net Backend Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Chile.

📋 Description

• Translate functional and technical requirements into structured prompts for AI tools.

• Utilize AI to generate backend code (.NET).

• Create APIs, business logic, and data structures.

• Validate, correct, and optimize the code generated by AI, ensuring quality, security, and performance.

• Implement and maintain unit tests to ensure code reliability.

• Integrate developments within CI/CD pipelines.

• Document APIs and technical solutions using automated and AI-assisted tools.

• Actively collaborate in agile ceremonies, contributing to productivity improvements through AI use.

• Identify automation opportunities and continuous improvement within the development cycle.

• Ensure that AI usage complies with organizational standards (security, privacy, quality).

⛳️ Requirements

• 4–5 years of experience in development with .NET / C#.

• Experience with ASP.NET Core / MVC.

• Development and consumption of REST APIs.

• Backend architectures (monolith and/or microservices).

• Knowledge of design patterns (SOLID, Clean Architecture, Repository, etc.).

• Practical experience using AI tools such as Claude, GitHub Copilot, ChatGPT, Cursor, etc.

• Ability to translate functional/technical requirements into effective prompts.

• Generate code using AI (backend, APIs, business logic).

• Iterate on AI responses to improve quality.

• Understanding the limitations of models (hallucinations, logical errors).

• Best practices in prompting (context, constraints, examples).

• Ability to review, validate, and correct AI-generated code:

• Code review (manual + assisted).

• Detection of logical and security errors.

• Experience with unit testing (xUnit, NUnit, MSTest).

• Code coverage.

• Use of quality tools (SonarQube, linters, static analysis).

• Proficiency in Azure DevOps / GitHub.

• CI/CD pipelines.

• Version control with Git (GitFlow or trunk-based).

• Experience with SQL Server and/or Oracle (PL/SQL).

• Ability to design efficient queries.

• Validate SQL code generated by AI.

• Use of tools such as Swagger / OpenAPI.

• Ability to generate AI-assisted documentation.

• Experience in Scrum / Agile.

• Work in multidisciplinary teams.

• Clear communication to explain technical decisions (including AI usage).
