This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Connecticut, +2 more states.
• Deliver end-user assistance, analyze and diagnose system issues, pinpoint root causes, and resolve problems or escalate matters to relevant IT personnel when it falls outside one's area of responsibility or expertise.
• Collaborate with vendors to troubleshoot and rectify system issues, enhancing product performance and usability.
• Offer recommendations to vendors for system enhancements.
• Address technical challenges that arise during installation and maintenance activities.
• Design, implement, and support applications while ensuring continuous optimization and performance.
• Convert technical requirements into development specifications and provide support for product management.
• Assess and document system updates, upgrades, and their impacts in conjunction with analysts and end users.
• Engage in system implementations, upgrades, and ongoing improvement initiatives.
• Conduct system testing, validation, and quality assurance to guarantee compliance and optimal system functionality.
• Develop and maintain documentation, including build specifications, test scripts, and training materials, and deliver training when necessary.
• Collaborate with clinical staff and IT professionals to assess, design, develop, test, implement, and maintain systems.
• Work alongside clinical staff and IT teams to ensure workstations, printers, scanners, mobile devices, and other peripherals meet the functional and compatibility standards of Epic applications.
• Strategically lead and collaborate on cross-functional application initiatives with application and operational teams to guarantee seamless integration, streamlined workflows, and optimal system performance.
• Maintain vendor certifications necessary to support the application areas of responsibility for the analyst.
• Assist with system integrations and interoperability efforts with other third-party applications and interfaces.
• Provide support as needed for after-hours activities such as go-lives, upgrades, downtimes, and other special projects.
• A bachelor's degree is mandatory or equivalent experience.
• A minimum of three (3) years of relevant experience is essential.
• A combination of post-high school education, job-related certification, and/or related experience equivalent to seven (7) years may be considered in lieu of minimum requirements.
• Certification(s): MyChart, with EpicCare Ambulatory certification being optional.
