Senior MuleSoft Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Colombia.

📋 Description

• Design, develop, and sustain integration solutions utilizing the MuleSoft Anypoint Platform.

• Implement API-led connectivity, encompassing System, Process, and Experience APIs.

• Create, test, and deploy RESTful and SOAP-based services in accordance with business and technical specifications.

• Construct intricate data transformations using DataWeave for various data formats (JSON, XML, CSV).

• Collaborate with architects, functional teams, and fellow developers to provide scalable integration solutions.

• Engage in design discussions and contribute to decisions regarding solution architecture.

• Conduct unit testing, support integration testing, and aid in User Acceptance Testing (UAT).

• Diagnose and resolve defects, ensuring the performance, scalability, and reliability of integrations.

• Ensure compliance with coding standards, security protocols, and MuleSoft best practices.

• Maintain and update technical documentation, which includes design artifacts and API specifications.

⛳️ Requirements

• 4–7+ years of experience in integration development, with practical experience in the MuleSoft Anypoint Platform.

• Strong comprehension of API-led architecture and integration patterns.

• Expertise in building and consuming RESTful and SOAP web services.

• Significant experience with DataWeave and data transformation methodologies.

• Familiarity with JSON, XML, and other related data formats.

• Understanding of API management, RAML/OpenAPI specifications, and Anypoint Exchange.

• Experience using version control systems (Git) and CI/CD pipelines.

• Knowledge of cloud and hybrid integration environments is advantageous.

• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving capabilities.

• Effective communication and collaboration skills.
