Senior MSK Physiotherapist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.

📋 Description

• Provide high-quality telephone and video consultations for patients with MSK conditions.

• Conduct remote assessments and clinical triage appointments lasting 15 minutes.

• Offer clinical diagnoses along with evidence-based self-management plans.

• Manage patient pathways to ensure optimal clinical outcomes.

• Facilitate onward referrals when clinically necessary.

• Evaluate patient needs and deliver customized advice and support.

• Provide remote guidance on exercise techniques, rehabilitation programs, injury prevention, and self-management strategies.

• Offer continual support, motivation, and progress reviews throughout the patient's rehabilitation journey.

• Maintain precise clinical documentation through telehealth and electronic medical record systems.

• Stay informed about advancements in MSK practice and engage in continuing professional development activities.

• Consistently deliver high standards of patient-centered care.

⛳️ Requirements

• MSc postgraduate qualification in MSK Physiotherapy or university-recognized postgraduate modules in MSK/Advanced Practice.

• Experience as a Band 7 Physiotherapist.

• Completion of FCP1 and FCP2 training.

• Current HCPC registration is required.

• At least 3 years of post-graduate experience in MSK Primary Care.

• Minimum 3 years of experience in a senior MSK position.

• Proficient in advanced clinical assessment and diagnostic skills.

• Capability to develop evidence-based treatment plans.

• Ability to order and interpret diagnostic investigations.

• Strong IT skills with experience in telehealth platforms and electronic patient record systems.

• Excellent communication skills and ability to engage patients effectively.

• Desirable: Postgraduate modules related to diagnostic Advanced Practice Physiotherapy services.

• Evidence of operating at Level 7 (MSc level) across the four pillars of advanced practice: Clinical Practice, Leadership and Management, Education, and Research.

• Previous experience in providing virtual care and remote consultations.
