
Senior Momentum Technical – Performance Tester

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Washington.
• Act as the Technical Testing subject matter expert for Momentum's performance testing efforts.
• Design, develop, and sustain automated performance testing frameworks that comply with enterprise standards.
• Assess and recommend automation strategies, tools, and best practices to enhance testing efficiency and reduce complexity.
• Lead the creation of automated performance testing solutions utilizing a variety of software development languages and tools.
• Guide and mentor performance testing developers and analysts to produce high-quality solutions that meet client requirements.
• Ensure that automated solutions are version-controlled, traceable, and thoroughly documented.
• Configure, manage, and upgrade the automation tool environments along with related plugins.
• Integrate automation tools with CI/CD pipelines (such as Jenkins, GitHub, and other automation applications) to facilitate continuous testing and repeatability.
• Oversee test environment connectivity, data dependencies, and tool access for both technical and testing teams.
• A Bachelor's degree with 8 years of software development or engineering experience, or a Master's degree with 6 years of software development or engineering experience.
• Practical technical experience with Momentum Financials and its implementation in a Cloud-Based environment.
• Hands-on technical experience in troubleshooting Momentum technical configurations and analyzing Momentum logs for root cause identification.
• Proficiency in working with Oracle Databases and advanced SQL and PL/SQL development skills.
• Experience in installing, maintaining, and utilizing CI/CD Automation tools such as Jenkins or Job Schedulers like Control-M.
• Direct experience in developing Momentum Form Import data files in compliant data structures and using SFTP tools such as WinSCP.
• Hands-on experience in testing and developing technical solutions for Momentum web service API.
• Proficiency in Groovy, Java, Perl, Bash, PowerShell, or similar scripting languages commonly used in automation frameworks.
• Experience working within or providing support to federal agencies or highly regulated environments.
• Capability to operate within multi-environment federal testing ecosystems (e.g., DEV, TEST, UAT, PreProd).
• Strong understanding of API and GUI testing functionalities.
• Familiarity with version control systems such as GitHub.
• Ability to analyze test failures and conduct root cause analysis.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience with the Department of Veterans Affairs.
• Eligibility to obtain a public trust clearance.
• Preferred Qualifications:
• Experience with RedHat OpenShift.
• Experience in testing financial systems, ERP modules, or similar enterprise applications.
