Senior Modeling Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Design, improve, and validate thermal and electrochemical models for evaluating battery systems' design and performance.

• Utilize MATLAB for the development, simulation, and analysis of models.

• Support modeling tasks that involve multi-physics interactions within NiZn, Lead-Acid, and Lithium battery systems.

• Aid in the creation of intricate thermal and electrochemical models.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related scientific field with nine (9) years of experience; alternatively, a Master’s degree with seven (7) years, or a PhD with four (4) years.

• Experience in thermal modeling.

• Proficient in MATLAB.

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.

• Capability to work efficiently in a collaborative, technical environment.

• Must be eligible to obtain a Secret security clearance; the process may commence once an interim clearance is awarded.

• Preferred: experience in electrical and chemical modeling.

• Preferred: knowledge of ANSYS thermal modeling tools.
