Senior Mobile Engineer – Flutter

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Romania.

📋 Description

• Assume complete technical responsibility for the Flutter mobile application, including implementation, architectural choices, feature delivery, code quality, and long-term sustainability.

• Collaborate with product, design, backend, QA, and support teams.

• Diagnose, debug, and resolve defects, crashes, and production challenges.

• Assist in the preparation for releases, deployment, rollout, and post-release validation.

• Enhance code quality, maintainability, and test coverage while engaging in code reviews, technical discussions, and architectural decisions.

• Foster continuous improvement by addressing technical debt and operational feedback.

• Contribute to operational goals related to uptime, quality, stability, processing latency, release reliability, security, and incident response across platforms.

• Maintain technical documentation, decision records, runbooks, onboarding resources, engineering best practices, and secure SDLC procedures.

⛳️ Requirements

• Extensive hands-on experience with production-level Flutter applications deployed on both iOS and Android platforms.

• Strong understanding of mobile app architecture, state management, dependency management, and modular code organization.

• Significant experience with REST APIs and mobile-backend integration.

• Familiarity with Firebase/GCP/AWS mobile services.

• Experience with app analytics, preferably Google Analytics for Firebase or similar tools.

• Knowledge of mobile CI/CD, release management, App Store / Google Play deployment processes, regression testing, and practices for release stability.

• Capability to troubleshoot production issues using logs, crash reports, analytics, and monitoring tools.

• Experience in enhancing release stability, test coverage, and secure SDLC practices within a live product environment.

• Background in observability, production support, incident management, debugging, and operational ownership with a focus on availability, stability, and performance.

• Strong experience in testing, including unit, widget, and integration/E2 tests.

• Excellent communication skills in English.

• Proven experience working within Agile teams.
