Senior Mobile Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Turkey.

📋 Description

• Take ownership and develop new features for our cross-platform TypeScript React Native application and Golang backend APIs.

• Oversee our releases by utilizing tools such as cohorting, feature flags, and app-store infrastructure to ensure a secure rollout to our millions of active users.

• Foster a strong collaborative relationship with product, design, and business teams to ensure stakeholder needs are assessed and fulfilled.

• Collaborate with the team to consistently produce clean, scalable, robust, and testable code.

• Acquire a comprehensive understanding of your application, data domain, and key performance indicators (KPIs).

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of professional mobile development experience, including at least 2 years in React Native or similar technologies such as Flutter.

• Proficient in working with native code on iOS (Swift/ObjC) and Native Android (Kotlin/Java).

• Demonstrated experience in developing and launching mobile applications to Apple and Google’s app stores.

• In-depth knowledge of React Native architecture, hooks, context, navigation patterns, and performance enhancements.

• Strong experience with unit testing, integration testing, and end-to-end testing (Jest, React Native Testing Library, Detox, Appium, etc.).

• Capable of leading features from start to finish — encompassing requirements, design, implementation, deployment, monitoring, and refinement.

• Experience in mentoring junior or mid-level engineers.

• Skilled in conducting high-quality code reviews, focusing on maintainability, clarity, and adherence to best practices.

• Actively drives technical decisions, suggests enhancements, and raises the quality of code throughout the team.

• Excellent collaboration skills with product managers, designers, backend teams, and quality assurance personnel.

• Bachelor's degree in computer science.

• Familiarity with mobile CI/CD pipelines (Fastlane, Bitrise, GitHub Actions, etc.).
