Senior Mobile Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Colombia.

📋 Description

• Contribute to the development and enhancement of new features for our cross-platform TypeScript React Native application and Golang backend APIs.

• Oversee our release processes, utilizing tools such as cohorting, feature flags, and app-store infrastructure to guarantee a secure rollout to our extensive user base of millions.

• Foster and maintain strong collaborative relationships with product, design, and business teams to ensure that stakeholder requirements are thoroughly understood and addressed.

• Collaborate with the team to consistently produce clean, scalable, robust, and testable code.

• Acquire a comprehensive understanding of your application, data domains, and key performance indicators (KPIs).

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 6 years of experience in resolving technical challenges as part of a team.

• Proven experience in developing and launching a mobile application on both Apple and Google’s mobile app stores.

• Strong proficiency in modern Frontend Development, including Javascript or Typescript, and experience in building applications with React Native or a similar cross-platform framework.

• Understanding of relational databases, particularly MySQL.

• Proficient in writing automated tests for applications (unit, integration, end-to-end) and implementing them within a CI environment.

• Capability to address problems using backend-focused programming languages such as Go, Python, Java, or similar.

• Familiarity with standard microservice architectures that utilize HTTP APIs.

• Experience with native code development for iOS and Android platforms.
