Senior Mobile Developer, iOS

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Design, develop, review, deploy, and maintain iOS applications with an emphasis on performance, security, responsiveness, and outstanding user experience.

• Mentor and guide a team of offshore iOS and Android developers, with a strong preference for candidates experienced in both iOS and Android development.

• Collaborate across departments with business analysts, alliances/channel teams, backend engineers, and stakeholders to conceptualize, scope, and deliver new features and enhancements.

• Write clean, maintainable code adhering to Swift best practices, design patterns, and architectural principles (MVVM, Clean Architecture, etc.).

• Conduct thorough testing, including unit tests, UI tests, and debugging, to ensure applications meet CrowdStrike's quality and security standards.

• Optimize application performance for speed, memory efficiency, and compatibility across various iOS devices and OS versions.

• Actively participate in code reviews, offering constructive feedback and mentoring team members to enhance code quality.

• Troubleshoot and resolve intricate issues related to app performance, crashes, functionality, and third-party integrations.

• Integrate with backend services using RESTful APIs, ensuring secure and efficient data communication.

• Keep up-to-date with iOS ecosystem updates (SwiftUI, Combine, async/await), Apple guidelines, and industry best practices to promote continuous improvement.

• Staying current with Android ecosystem updates is also necessary for this role as the application is supported on both platforms.

• Familiarity with Android ecosystem updates (Jetpack Compose, Kotlin Coroutines, Flow, Hilt), Material Design guidelines, and industry best practices to facilitate continuous improvement.

• Contribute to technical planning, including effort estimation, sprint planning, and architectural decisions.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent work experience.

• A minimum of 5 years of progressively responsible experience in a related field, demonstrating both technical and professional capabilities.

• Proven experience leveraging AI technologies to enhance decision-making, streamline workflows and processes, improve efficiency, and drive business outcomes.

• Strong proficiency in Swift with hands-on experience using UIKit, SwiftUI, Core Data, and Combine frameworks.

• Preference for candidates with some Android development experience (Kotlin, Android SDK, Jetpack, Gradle build system, Android Studio, and Google Play Store provisioning and signing).

• Experience with Xcode, Interface Builder, and Instruments.

• Knowledge of the app lifecycle, memory management (ARC), and App Store provisioning and signing.

• Preferred experience with Salesforce concepts such as Lightning Web Components (LWC), Salesforce platform capabilities, and integration patterns, along with the ability to create responsive and accessible UI components.

• Familiarity with Jira, Coupa, MuleSoft, and Salesforce Experience Cloud is a plus.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team, exercising discretion in decision-making and sound judgment in problem-solving.

• Must possess excellent analytical, organizational, problem-solving, interpersonal, and communication skills, both written and oral, with a strong desire to quickly learn new skills and technologies.
