Senior Mobile Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Develop the overarching mobile architecture strategy for hybrid applications utilizing Ionic and Cordova.

• Create scalable, maintainable, and high-performance mobile solutions for both iOS and Android platforms.

• Choose suitable plugins, libraries, and tools to enhance performance and user experience.

• Offer guidance to developers regarding best practices for code organization, performance improvement, and security measures.

• Perform technical reviews of code, architecture, and solution designs.

• Mentor junior and mid-level developers, promoting skill enhancement and knowledge exchange.

• Supervise the development of reusable components, modules, and frameworks.

• Ensure smooth integration with backend services (REST APIs, GraphQL, authentication frameworks).

• Lead the implementation of mobile features such as offline capabilities, push notifications, and access to device hardware.

• Establish standards for testing, performance optimization, and security compliance.

• Collaborate closely with QA teams to guarantee high-quality deliverables.

• Diagnose complex production issues and recommend sustainable solutions.

⛳️ Requirements

• Strong professional background in mobile development, particularly with extensive experience in Ionic and Cordova.

• Familiarity with migrating from Cordova to the Capacitor framework.

• Demonstrated experience in architecting and delivering enterprise-level mobile applications.

• In-depth knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript/TypeScript, and mobile-specific frameworks.

• Practical experience with mobile app deployment processes for both the App Store and Google Play.

• Proficient in utilizing Cordova/Ionic plugins, including the creation and integration of custom plugins.

• Experience in integrating mobile applications with backend APIs and authentication services (OAuth2, JWT, etc.).

• Understanding of performance profiling, debugging, and mobile optimization strategies.

• Familiarity with mobile CI/CD pipelines and tools such as Fastlane, Jenkins, or Azure DevOps.

• Knowledge of native development (Swift/Objective-C for iOS, Java/Kotlin for Android) is a plus.

• Exceptional problem-solving, communication, and leadership abilities.

• Awareness of cloud services (AWS, Azure, GCP) for mobile backend integrations.

• Experience with Agile/Scrum development methodologies.

• Previous exposure to mobile security standards (e.g., OWASP Mobile Top 10).
