Senior ML Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Turkey.

📋 Description

• Create and implement machine learning solutions across various business sectors utilizing tabular data (including uplift models and recommender systems). We are also focusing on projects that incorporate e-commerce mechanics.

• Identify the most suitable ML/LLM methods or suggest alternative solutions.

• Develop comprehensive ML solutions: encompassing data preparation, model training, API development, and ongoing monitoring.

• Design features powered by LLM: ranging from basic classifiers and content generation to sophisticated AI assistants and chatbots.

• Manage the complete LLM lifecycle: including golden datasets, prompt engineering, fine-tuning, and evaluating responses.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 5 years of experience in ML/DS, addressing real-world product challenges.

• Extensive knowledge in machine learning and mathematical statistics: a thorough understanding of classical algorithms (notably gradient boosting) as well as modern NLP/LLM techniques.

• A metrics-driven approach: the capability to link ML metrics (such as ROC-AUC, F1, RMSE) with business outcomes (like CR, LTV).

• Strong engineering principles: proficient in Python with a focus on product-oriented development; we prioritize clean code, familiarity with design patterns, and robust engineering practices.

• Data proficiency: advanced skills in SQL; adept at independently constructing complex datasets in ClickHouse and managing MongoDB.

• Understanding of MLOps: practical experience with experiment tracking tools and knowledge of production workflows (including Docker, Git, CI/CD).

• Self-sufficiency: the ability to decompose problems, select the appropriate technology stack (or rationalize a non-ML approach), and achieve production delivery.
