Senior ML Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Armenia.

📋 Description

• Design and implement machine learning solutions across various business domains using tabular data, including uplift models and recommendation systems. We are also currently engaged in projects that incorporate e-commerce elements.

• Identify the most suitable machine learning or large language model (LLM) techniques, or suggest alternative methods.

• Construct comprehensive machine learning solutions that encompass data preparation, training, API development, and monitoring.

• Create LLM-driven features, ranging from basic classifiers and content generation to sophisticated AI assistants and chatbots.

• Manage the entire lifecycle of LLMs, including the creation of golden datasets, prompt engineering, fine-tuning, and evaluating responses.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of experience in machine learning or data science, addressing real-world product challenges.

• Profound knowledge in machine learning and statistical mathematics: a solid grasp of classical algorithms (particularly gradient boosting) and familiarity with contemporary NLP and LLM methodologies.

• Metrics-oriented mindset: skill in correlating machine learning metrics (ROC-AUC, F1, RMSE) with business metrics (CR, LTV).

• Strong engineering background: proficient in Python with a focus on product-driven development; we appreciate clean code, understanding of design patterns, and robust engineering practices.

• Proficient data skills: advanced SQL capabilities; adept at independently and efficiently constructing complex datasets in ClickHouse and managing data in MongoDB.

• Understanding of MLOps: practical experience with experiment tracking tools and familiarity with production workflows (Docker, Git, CI/CD).

• Independence: ability to decompose problems, select the appropriate technology stack (or justify a non-ML approach), and effectively deliver solutions to production.
