This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Arizona, +4 more states.
• Design and implement plans at the department, class, and style-color levels by channel, integrating top-down directives with grassroots planning.
• Formulate weekly sales and inventory plans for categories in support of brand and channel objectives.
• Evaluate historical data and current market trends to pinpoint potential risks and opportunities.
• Develop and manage sales and buying plans at the style-color level, ensuring consistency between top-down and grassroots strategies.
• Collaborate with Merchants and cross-functional teams to shape assortment strategies and meet financial targets.
• Present plans during DTC Investment Review sessions and engage in GTM and Brand Conference meetings.
• Construct regular pricing and markdown strategies in alignment with product objectives and flow calendars.
• Work closely with Planning Operations to secure product availability by market and month, influencing sizing and assortment modifications.
• Engage in buy review discussions with Wholesale and Supply Planning teams.
• Spearhead in-season Open-to-Buy reforecasting, adjusting to trends and enhancing inventory positions.
• Assess and communicate supply disruptions, adjusting strategies to meet objectives.
• Share inventory status and recommendations with ecommerce, marketing, and allocation teams.
• Take ownership of the creation and presentation of financial outcomes and reports during WBR/QBR meetings.
• Promote continuous improvement and best practices, formulating actions to enhance business objectives.
• Monitor and enhance forecast accuracy, providing insights and strategies for achieving success.
• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent professional experience.
• A minimum of 4 years in merchandise planning, inventory management, buying, or finance within a retail context.
• Experience in forecasting is essential.
• Proficient in statistical analysis and effective communication skills.
• A collaborative team player with a positive mindset and a responsible approach.
• Inquisitive, adaptable, action-oriented, and proactive in problem-solving.
• Advanced proficiency in Excel; adept with systems; knowledge of Oracle and Tableau is preferred.
• Strong understanding of merchandise planning and retail mathematics, along with mentoring capabilities.
