This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Assist in the formulation and implementation of the global medical affairs strategy, which encompasses the generation of medical insights and their translation into actionable strategic initiatives within genitourinary oncology.

• Oversee the execution of scientific advisory boards and Executive Advisory Councils to guide clinical development strategies, shape the Target Product Profile (TPP), and direct global launch planning for genitourinary oncology products.

• Aid in the creation and execution of the global medical evidence generation strategy (AUEG) to influence clinical practice, showcase product value, and facilitate patient access in genitourinary cancers.

• Contribute to the establishment of a cohesive medical communication framework that articulates the clinical narrative, scientific platform, and core scientific content, while also informing global medical education efforts.

• Collaborate across functions with Clinical Development, HEOR, Market Access, Commercial, and Regional Medical teams to ensure coherence on evidence generation and scientific engagement priorities.

• Formulate comprehensive external stakeholder engagement strategies through partnerships with genitourinary oncology opinion leaders, cooperative groups, advocacy organizations, professional societies, and payer stakeholders.

• Track and evaluate emerging scientific information, treatment paradigms, biomarkers, and competitive advancements within the genitourinary oncology sector to pinpoint opportunities and risks.

• Strengthen Amgen’s standing as a science-driven and patient-centric organization through high-caliber scientific interactions and external collaborations.


⛳️ Requirements

• Doctorate degree from a recognized academic institution (PhD, MD/DO, or PharmD) with a minimum of 2 years of Medical Affairs experience in the biopharmaceutical sector (biotech, pharmaceutical, or CRO).

• OR a Master’s degree accompanied by 4 years of Medical Affairs experience in the biopharmaceutical field (biotech, pharmaceutical, or CRO).

• OR a Bachelor’s degree with 6 years of Medical Affairs experience in the biopharmaceutical industry (biotech, pharmaceutical, or CRO).

• OR an Associate’s degree with 10 years of Medical Affairs experience in the biopharmaceutical domain (biotech, pharmaceutical, or CRO).

• OR a high school diploma / GED with 12 years of Medical Affairs experience in the biopharmaceutical industry (biotech, pharmaceutical, or CRO).
