This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Alaska, +6 more states.
• Overseeing a specific territory for the designated program.
• Building and sustaining essential scientific relationships with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) within the assigned territory.
• Acting as a scientific authority for the medical community and enabling the appropriate exchange of scientific information.
• Cultivating and retaining an extensive knowledge base in scientific, medical, and product domains.
• Providing timely and relevant input on field medical engagement strategies to support clinical development and commercialization efforts.
• Assisting, leading, and driving the support of the organization’s clinical trials in collaboration with the clinical development team and relevant researchers.
• Mastering the responsibilities of the Medical Science Liaison (MSL) role while taking on additional leadership responsibilities in projects and initiatives.
• An advanced scientific degree or equivalent experience is required. (MD, PhD, PharmD, DNP is strongly preferred, or an Advanced Practice Degree such as NP, PA, RPh, or MSN/RN with oncology experience).
• A minimum of 5 years of MSL experience within the pharmaceutical sector.
• Experience in rare diseases is preferred, particularly in Oncology and/or Neurosciences, though not essential.
• Proven ability to effectively present clinical and scientific information.
• Expert-level proficiency with business software, including but not limited to Veeva CRM or a similar customer relationship management tool, Adobe Professional, and the Microsoft Office Suite.
• Capability to comprehend, review, and convey complex technical concepts and technologies.
• Familiarity with the OIG compliance guidance for pharmaceutical manufacturers.
• Strong interpersonal communication skills for effective and clear collaboration with colleagues, stakeholders, and vendors in a remote hybrid work environment.
• Willingness to travel occasionally, including overnight stays, as necessitated by business needs.
• Must reside within the territory they are assigned to.
• A valid driver's license is required, and it must be in good standing.
• This position requires the ability to work East Coast hours.
