This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Connecticut, +3 more states.
• Conduct thorough investigations and manage all elements of a medical-only claim, ensuring consistent communication via phone and written correspondence with all relevant parties.
• Confirm coverage, investigate, manage, and resolve medical-only claims in a timely and accurate manner.
• Possess the authority to approve or decline payment of medical invoices and establish case reserves, with the ability to approve reserves up to $10,000.
• Responsible for managing medical-only claims in Maryland, New Jersey, and Pennsylvania, with Pennsylvania being the state with the highest volume of claims.
• A minimum of 2 years of experience managing medical-only claims is essential.
• Candidates with current licenses to adjust workers’ compensation claims in Delaware, Connecticut, or New Hampshire are preferred, or those willing to obtain such licenses.
• Strong communication skills are required, both in written and verbal formats.
• Ability to work accurately and efficiently with a variety of internal and external stakeholders is necessary.
• Must be self-driven, as this position is remote.
