Senior Medical Affairs Scientist, Amyloidosis

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• Senior Medical Affairs Scientists (Field) are seasoned medical-scientific professionals specializing in the area of ATTR-CM (transthyretin amyloid cardiomyopathy) and the drug tafamidis.

• They deliver available medical-scientific knowledge to external stakeholders and networks.

• Responsible for building and sustaining medical-scientific relationships with clinical and scientific experts in the field of cardiology.

• They also assist relevant network structures and medical-scientific initiatives.

• Senior Medical Affairs Scientists (Field) initiate and oversee internal projects, contribute their medical-scientific expertise and unique experience, and provide support to colleagues and other Medical Affairs Scientists regarding the ATTR-CM indication and tafamidis across various functional areas.

⛳️ Requirements

• A degree in human medicine, veterinary medicine, pharmacy, or life sciences (expertise in accordance with §75 of the German Medicines Act), preferably with a doctorate.

• Extensive experience in the pharmaceutical industry is advantageous, in addition to clinical/scientific experience in the relevant indication area.

• Profound medical-pharmaceutical knowledge (including scientific methodology and interpretation of clinical trials, ideally in cardiology).

• Holds specific understanding of the healthcare environment (regulatory authorities, physicians, pharmacy), along with knowledge of products and the market in the relevant indication area.

• Proficient in project management, digital communication tools, and networking.

• Excellent organizational skills (self-management, administration, and reporting).

• Strong team spirit and capability to work independently, as well as a readiness to assume responsibility within teams or for projects.

• Fluent in German (at least C1) and possesses very good English skills.
