Senior Medicaid BI/Reporting Business Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Missouri.

📋 Description

• Collect, analyze, and document business needs for reports, dashboards, and data extracts.

• Convert business requirements into comprehensive functional and technical specifications.

• Conduct data analysis and validation utilizing SQL.

• Align source system data elements with reporting requirements and outputs.

• Develop report mockups, wireframes, and reporting specifications.

• Collaborate with business stakeholders, technical teams, data engineers, and report developers.

• Assist with User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and reporting validation tasks.

• Identify and address data quality concerns and reporting inconsistencies.

• Record business rules, data definitions, transformation logic, and reporting processes.

• Aid in modernization and migration efforts related to reporting and analytics platforms.

• Engage in project planning, design sessions, requirements workshops, and stakeholder meetings.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience.

• Over 8 years of experience in roles such as Business Analyst, Reporting Analyst, Data Analyst, or Business Systems Analyst.

• Proficient SQL skills with the capability to query, analyze, validate, and troubleshoot data.

• Experience in gathering and documenting reporting requirements.

• Background in creating functional specifications, data mappings, and process documentation.

• Familiarity with relational databases, preferably Oracle.

• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.

• Experience in supporting User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and validation processes.
