Senior Mechanical Building Services Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Philippines.

📋 Description

• Oversee the design of HVAC systems, public health, heating, cooling, ventilation, domestic water, and above-ground drainage systems.

• Create and evaluate calculations, specifications, drawings, and technical reports.

• Perform detailed design utilizing tools like Revit, AutoCAD, or similar software.

• Ensure adherence to UK Building Regulations, CIBSE Guides, BS/EN standards, and local planning regulations.

• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including electrical, structural, architectural, and sustainability experts.

• Manage project schedules, deliverables, and resource allocation.

• Serve as a primary contact for clients, contractors, and external parties.

• Incorporate low-carbon technologies, heat pumps, MVHR, district heating, and renewable systems into design plans.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Technical & Professional Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Building Services Engineering.

• Chartered status or progress towards CEng (CIBSE or IMechE).

• Solid knowledge of UK building regulations, CIBSE guidelines, and industry standards.

• Demonstrated experience in delivering mechanical designs for commercial offices, residential projects, hotels, retail, or mixed-use developments.

• Proficiency in design software, such as AutoCAD and Revit MEP.
