Senior Master Data Management Lead

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• Define and enhance Redcare’s MDM operating model by linking various domains through ongoing improvement, federated governance, and scalable MDM processes.

• Spearhead targeted MDM initiatives, overseeing the journey from design to implementation while establishing success metrics related to data quality, stakeholder engagement, compliance with relevant laws and regulations, and architectural alignment.

• Oversee cross-functional delivery for MDM, coordinating integration efforts with Data Architecture and Data Engineering teams, and ensuring alignment with business stakeholders, data owners, and data stewards.

• Create the governed golden record layer, converting business processes into contemporary data management workflows (such as matching and merging records, managing exceptions, and setting confidence thresholds) with a strong emphasis on automation and human-in-the-loop validation.

• Implement ongoing data quality management for critical data elements, which includes profiling, DQ benchmarking, data cleansing, issue management, remediation workflows, dashboards, and KPIs to make progress transparent.

⛳️ Requirements

• You possess senior, hands-on experience in developing MDM operating models within intricate, cross-functional settings.

• You have configured or implemented at least one MDM platform, such as CluedIn, Profisee, or Informatica MDM, and you understand the practical workings of data models, business-driven data quality rules, automation workflows, and stewardship queues.

• You are committed to making governance tangible: you can persuade senior business leaders, navigate ownership disputes, guide stewards, and maintain focus on GDPR, data protection, access controls, and auditability.

• Practical experience with the Microsoft data ecosystem (including Azure Databricks, Purview, Fabric, and Entra) is a significant advantage, and familiarity with procurement, finance, and customer data is also valued.
