This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in North Carolina, +2 more states.
• Acts as the marketing liaison for designated business units and organizes regular meetings with key leaders in those units.
• Collaborates with business unit leaders and marketing management to create a comprehensive marketing plan.
• Oversees the production of marketing materials to support the marketing strategy, including broadcast emails, brochures, one-pagers, advertising, contests and incentives, internal communications, website content, social media updates, trade show displays, and audio/visual presentations.
• Reviews and edits content before it is submitted for final approval.
• Adheres to the established marketing and compliance review procedures to obtain necessary approvals for marketing materials, ensuring they comply with legal, regulatory, and company branding standards.
• May support the creation and implementation of custom surveys to evaluate the effectiveness of campaigns.
• Performs routine administrative tasks for the department, such as managing contact lists, overseeing inbox maintenance, coordinating internal projects, and handling recurring external communications.
• A bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in education, training, and work history.
• At least five years of experience in a marketing capacity focused on driving sales outcomes, preferably in life brokerage or financial services sectors.
• Demonstrated project management skills.
• Ability to cultivate relationships with colleagues, internal and external clients, and vendors.
• Practical knowledge of design capabilities and online content presentation formats.
• Professional experience with marketing and communication best practices, including social media, content development and management, marketing analytics, media relations, advertising, trade shows, and event planning.
• Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading abilities, with familiarity with AP Style Guidelines, brand standards, and corporate voice.
• Solid understanding of the life insurance sector, including the capacity to clarify fundamental industry terminology.
• Proficient in Adobe Creative Cloud (especially InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, and Dreamweaver).
• Advanced understanding of marketing automation tools, customer relationship management systems, and strategic campaign development.
• Willingness and capability to host virtual events using designated company software, such as Zoom, along with providing innovative ideas to enhance interaction and engagement among attendees.
