This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Connecticut, +3 more states.
• Oversee comprehensive project management for significant workforce optimization initiatives, effectively navigating areas where requirements, risks, and stakeholder inputs are subject to change.
• Collaborate closely with Government Affairs, Legal, Talent Acquisition, Communications, and HR to define project scope, align resources, manage timelines, and mitigate risks while overseeing the project plan.
• Act as a strategic advisor across the enterprise, offering consultative support to leaders at all levels in complex, ambiguous, and high-impact situations where clear solutions are not readily apparent, requiring strategic judgment, influence, and risk assessment to shape workforce strategy and future design.
• Influence talent-related decisions by assessing current capabilities against future organizational demands, identifying skill gaps, and proposing workforce solutions that promote long-term business success and adaptability.
• Utilize data to proactively pinpoint workforce activities and emerging risks, providing actionable insights and strategic recommendations that guide organizational design and talent decisions.
• Spearhead strategic process enhancements and system upgrades for severance administration technology, converting intricate and evolving business and legal requirements into scalable system specifications.
• Maintain comprehensive solution integrity by defining requirements, creating and executing test scripts, and overseeing complete regression testing to ensure compliant, dependable, and future-ready outcomes.
• Ensure adherence to state and federal regulations (WARN, OWBPA, EEO Title VII, ERISA, Section 409A of the Internal Revenue Code, etc.) as well as company policies.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• 7+ years of relevant HR experience, preferably in a role as an HR Business Partner or similar.
• Exceptional consulting, influencing, strategic thinking, and project management capabilities.
• Strong understanding of the full cycle of workforce optimization activities, including organizational restructuring and employment law.
• Familiarity with WARN, OWBPA, EEO Title VII, ERISA, and Section 409A of the Internal Revenue Code.
• Demonstrated ability to independently manage multiple projects in a fast-paced, agile environment with a keen attention to detail.
• Capability to collaborate with technology teams for system enhancements.
