This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California, +3 more states.
β’ Analyze and interpret clients' financial information while identifying and evaluating their cross-border intercompany transactions.
β’ Review the transfers of tangible goods, services, and intellectual property transactions.
β’ Conduct functional analysis interviews.
β’ Handle documentation, planning, dispute resolution, and advance pricing agreements.
β’ Lead various transfer pricing engagements, ensuring the delivery of high-quality tax planning and consulting projects for a diverse clientele.
β’ Enhance technical expertise by staying informed on trends, developments, and technical authorities, applying this knowledge to complex scenarios.
β’ Collaborate and establish relationships with Baker Tilly member firms globally.
β’ Provide technical guidance on transfer pricing to tax professionals throughout the firm.
β’ Assist in managing client engagement staffing, billings/collections, and ensuring that client profitability targets are achieved.
β’ Leverage your entrepreneurial skills to network and cultivate strong relationships both internally and externally with clients.
β’ Invest in your professional growth individually and by participating in firm-wide learning and development initiatives.
β’ Support the growth and advancement of team members by adhering to the Baker Tilly Care and Teach philosophy, assisting associates in reaching their professional objectives.
β’ A bachelor's degree in Economics, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field is required.
β’ A master's degree in Economics, Finance, or a related field or a JD/LLM is preferred.
β’ A minimum of seven (7) years of specific experience in transfer pricing is required.
β’ At least three (3) years of supervisory experience, including mentoring and counseling associates, is desired.
β’ Experience in creating and utilizing complex financial models, drafting comprehensive functional analyses, and producing concise and accurate technical documentation is essential.
β’ Ability to lead and supervise others, provide exceptional client service, demonstrate a commitment to continuous learning to remain current on applicable strategies, maintain a holistic view while paying attention to details, uphold ethical standards, and exhibit a sense of urgency and dedication to quality and timely project completion, including project economics, budgeting, and billing.
β’ Eligibility to work in the U.S. without sponsorship is highly preferred.
