This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Belgium, +1 more state.
• Participate as a member of the Total Rewards Centre of Expertise Team, providing consultation to business HR teams regarding Total Rewards issues.
• Spearhead the local Total Rewards strategy while serving as the liaison between Corporate Total Rewards, local HR Business Partners, and regional HR.
• Facilitate business objectives through strategic and tactical compensation and rewards interventions aimed at attracting and retaining talent.
• Conduct salary benchmarking, variable pay assessments, and benefit expenditure comparisons with market standards.
• Oversee the benefits portfolio for approximately 1,000 employees.
• Ensure that reward initiatives are compliant with applicable legislation.
• Design and develop the region’s reward strategy in alignment with global compensation and reward policies.
• Act as an expert resource on compensation and rewards.
• Create cost-effective employee reward strategies.
• Manage reward projects within budgetary constraints and execute them in collaboration with stakeholders.
• Formulate pay and reward strategies utilizing benchmarking and market analysis.
• Identify opportunities for benefit harmonization and negotiate with suppliers.
• Assist with pay structures and annual compensation planning.
• Support the management and harmonization of incentive schemes.
• Provide reward-related advice and solutions to various customer groups.
• Lead regional Reward communications and branding initiatives.
• Offer guidance on cross-border and expatriate reward matters as well as country legislative requirements.
• Lead negotiations with providers and manage relationships with brokers and suppliers.
• Contribute to regional ESG objectives through reward tools and policies.
• Enhance the financial and health wellbeing strategy.
• Promote a unified service delivery across Total Rewards, HRBPs, and operational HR teams.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, Environmental Health and Safety procedures, Ethics & Compliance standards, and International Trade Compliance requirements.
• Previous experience in compensation and reward roles operating across multiple countries.
• Proven track record in identifying and implementing strategic change requirements and compensation and reward solutions in a dynamic, competitive landscape.
• Experience functioning as a center of expertise within a Shared Service environment.
• Background in large international corporations.
• Capability to manage conflicting priorities from internal stakeholders with resilience and strong influencing abilities.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both Dutch and English.
• Proficient presentation skills.
• Strong analytical and numerical abilities.
• Exceptional organizational skills.
• Familiarity with HR processes and procedures specific to the Benelux region.
• Ability to adapt and learn quickly.
• In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel.
• Willingness to travel within the region and broader European area as necessary.
• Self-motivated with the ability to prioritize and maintain focus in a fast-changing environment.
