This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.
• Ensure that all operational activities within the region adhere fully to health, safety, and quality standards, alongside operational procedures to promote regulatory compliance and risk management.
• Enhance customer satisfaction by guaranteeing that plants consistently meet service and quality benchmarks, while cultivating a culture of operational excellence and ongoing improvement.
• Provide leadership and oversight to ensure that plants are equipped with the necessary resources and focus to consistently achieve KPIs, fulfilling customer satisfaction and operational objectives.
• Continuously enhance operational performance in critical areas such as health and safety, cost management, product quality, customer satisfaction, and sustainability.
• Analyze and monitor regional cost trends, pinpointing opportunities for cost efficiency and ensuring that financial performance aligns with budget expectations.
• Lead and execute cost-saving initiatives by recommending, analyzing, and implementing efficiency improvements across the region.
• Actively engage in the development and execution of the regional supply chain strategy, collaborating closely with cross-functional teams to promote operational consistency and enhancement.
• Lead and mentor plant management teams, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives, fostering a collaborative work environment, and supporting professional growth.
• Extensive experience in managing large teams within high-volume, fast-paced manufacturing or supply chain environments.
• Strong operational leadership across safety, service, quality, and cost dimensions.
• Proven track record in delivering transformation projects and change management initiatives in complex, multi-site operations.
• Demonstrated capability to influence senior stakeholders in matrix organizations (Commercial, Supply Chain, Engineering, HR, etc.).
• Experience in unionized environments with effective relationship management skills.
• Financial and commercial acumen, including budget ownership, P&L comprehension, and cost optimization skills.
• Strong mindset for continuous improvement (Lean/Six Sigma/Kaizen experience preferred).
