This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in North Carolina, +1 more state.
• Oversee strategic operations that align with DEWALT North America's business priorities and long-term growth goals.
• Collaborate with the DEWALT NA General Manager to ensure cross-functional alignment, execution, and accountability for essential business initiatives.
• Assist in the annual and long-term business planning processes, helping to convert strategic priorities into actionable operational plans for the DEWALT brand.
• Identify and implement enhancements to processes that improve organizational effectiveness, speed, and quality of execution, particularly focusing on the Commercialization of Innovation.
• Lead operating rhythm activities, including business reviews, performance monitoring, leadership updates, and cross-functional governance.
• Create and track key performance indicators, dashboards, and reporting tools to assess progress against strategic and operational objectives.
• Evaluate business performance, market dynamics, and internal operational trends to identify risks, opportunities, and suggested actions.
• Manage high-priority, cross-functional projects from planning to execution, ensuring that milestones, deliverables, and outcomes are met on schedule.
• Collaborate with leadership to prepare executive communications, presentations, and recommendations that facilitate decision-making and business alignment.
• Ensure the successful implementation of major initiatives throughout the North America organization by eliminating obstacles, coordinating stakeholders, and ensuring follow-through.
• Promote a culture of continuous improvement, operational discipline, and teamwork across various teams.
• Utilize technology and tools, including artificial intelligence, to enhance workflows and drive greater effectiveness.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Operations, Finance, or a related discipline.
• Over 5 years of experience in strategic operations, business operations, commercial strategy, project management, sales operations, or similar roles within consumer durables, tools, or comparable industries.
• Proven track record of leading cross-functional strategic initiatives and driving operational enhancements within a matrixed organization.
• Strong business acumen and analytical capabilities, with the ability to analyze performance data, identify trends, and formulate actionable recommendations.
• Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with experience in preparing materials for senior leadership.
• Well-developed project and program management abilities, capable of managing multiple high-priority initiatives concurrently.
• Experience in fostering strong partnerships across cross-functional teams and influencing outcomes without direct authority.
• Excellent organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail, coupled with a disciplined approach to execution.
• Proactive, agile, and solutions-focused mindset, adept at navigating ambiguity and achieving results.
• Results-driven leadership style with a history of enhancing business performance and operational efficiency.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint; familiarity with business intelligence or reporting tools is advantageous.
