This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois, +1 more state.
• Lead your team in serving a portfolio of Slack's most significant and strategic customers, ensuring they successfully adopt, deeply integrate, and continually gain business value from Slack.
• Develop strategies, programs, and operational rhythms to effectively utilize your team's technical expertise and deliver exceptional engagements across various customer segments.
• Advocate for both your customers and your team by fostering alignment among Account Success, Product, and Support.
• Build and cultivate a high-performing team that embodies Salesforce's values, empowering your Success Architects to serve as the definitive technical resource for enterprise clients.
• Directly impact customer health, retention, and expansion outcomes by ensuring your team delivers high-quality interactions throughout the entire Success Architect portfolio.
• Contribute to Slack's Customer Success vision and strategy, achieving team targets and key metrics through operational excellence and disciplined execution.
• Participate in account strategies for key and at-risk customers, model technical best practices for your team, and develop case studies and references that highlight the value of Slack at scale.
• Align the entire Slack ecosystem to meet customer needs and promote a vibrant, inclusive team culture that motivates individuals to perform at their best.
• A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Business, or a related field.
• Over 10 years of relevant work experience in Enterprise Architecture, Technology Consulting, Customer Success, Technology Solutions Development, or Technical/Solutions Architecture.
• Experience in leading a technical team within the enterprise software industry, with direct oversight of engagement deliverables and alignment with customer executives.
• A proven history of building and nurturing a high-performing team through effective talent acquisition, onboarding, and development, marked by strong productivity and high morale.
• Practical experience with the Slack platform, including its extensibility, APIs, integration ecosystem, and enterprise deployment models, with a solid understanding of identity (SAML, SSO, SCIM), eDiscovery and DLP, along with key SaaS integrations.
• Established ability to navigate, escalate, and resolve complex customer challenges within large-scale, distributed enterprise environments.
• Demonstrated capability to communicate, present, and influence credibly at all organizational levels, including executive and C-level stakeholders.
• Proven track record of achieving targets and KPIs, with established success in creating a clear vision and driving change within a customer-facing organization.
