Senior Manager, Security Products, IAM

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Massachusetts, +1 more state.

📋 Description

• Lead and mentor a diverse engineering team dedicated to developing scalable security products.

• Drive the technical roadmap and execution for security features, encompassing threat detection, identity management, and data protection.

• Oversee delivery timelines, inter-team dependencies, and proactive risk mitigation to guarantee successful completion of product milestones.

• Establish and implement sustainable engineering practices with a focus on reducing technical debt.

• Collaborate with Product Management and Security Architects to establish product requirements.

• Maintain high standards of code quality and operational excellence.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline.

• Over 10 years of experience in software engineering, including at least 4 years in a senior leadership or management position.

• Demonstrated success in delivering intricate security products or large-scale distributed systems.

• Profound knowledge of security protocols, cryptography, and contemporary web application security.

• More than 5 years of experience in software engineering focused on security functions.

• Expert-level proficiency in Go and strong skills in JavaScript/Node.js.

• Proven experience in designing systems with substantial data requirements.

• In-depth understanding of distributed systems.

• Extensive expertise in Kubernetes, particularly in managing security-critical workloads at scale.

• Experience with cloud platforms and a solid understanding of cloud security models.
