This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New Jersey, +1 more state.
• Act as a leader and enterprise solution architect for the SAP SCM functional domain, establishing design direction across Production Planning, Manufacturing, Quality Management, Warehouse Management, Shop Floor Control, and MES/Engineering integration.
• Collaborate with Business Process Owners (BPOs) to identify, prioritize, and define process requirements, balancing new projects with the support of existing processes and integrations.
• Manage the functional roadmap for SAP SCM, including the assessment of legacy non-SAP systems and the transition from SAP ECC to S/4HANA.
• Oversee the execution of SAP SCM projects from requirements gathering to go-live, in conjunction with Application Management Services (AMS) support functions.
• Establish and monitor delivery metrics (e.g., ticket resolution time, project on-time rate, system uptime) and communicate status updates to IT and business leadership.
• Lead the SAP SCM functional team: responsible for hiring, onboarding, development planning, and conducting annual performance reviews.
• Determine team priorities and workload to enhance efficiency, productivity, and timely delivery of business value.
• Mentor team members on technical expertise and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Manage team capacity planning and staffing suggestions, directly contributing to the resource planning process.
• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Business, Finance, or Supply Chain Management.
• Over 20 years of ERP experience across various ERP systems and SAP, with practical knowledge in SCM modules (PP, QM, WM), MES integration, and enterprise-level solution architecture and roadmap management for a multi-module ERP portfolio.
• More than 10 years of hands-on experience with Integrated Business Planning (IBP) (SAP) processes, configuration, and industry best practices.
• At least 10 years of experience integrating SAP with non-SAP systems (e.g., Ariba, Concur, Workday).
• Over 10 years of direct people management experience, leading a technical or functional team, including hiring, performance management, and development planning.
• Previous experience in aerospace, defense, or nuclear-adjacent manufacturing sectors.
