Senior Manager, Sales Analytics

📋 Description

• Assist in sales business review meetings alongside sales leadership by delivering high-level analysis and emphasizing opportunities and areas for enhancement across national, divisional, and territory levels.

• Offer proactive suggestions on sales strategies, including trends in field force activities, healthcare practitioner (HCP) targeting and segmentation, territory alignment, and provide insights to key stakeholders.

• Take ownership of sales force reporting and data visualization, operationalizing KPIs and generating performance-related reports and dashboards using Looker.

• Oversee territory alignment and optimization to guarantee effective field force deployment.

• Aid in the quarterly goal-setting process for sales representatives and track their performance.

• Deliver ad hoc analyses to sales and marketing leadership as necessary to facilitate informed decision-making regarding business performance.

• Contribute to the development of the sales analytics and reporting roadmap, which includes the automation of recurring analyses, enhancements to data sources and technological solutions, managing data and technology business process changes, and proactively identifying and addressing pain points, opportunities, and unmet needs to boost efficiency and effectiveness.

• Lead various projects and consistently meet the expectations of diverse stakeholders.

• Present insights to sales leadership, conveying complex ideas in a clear manner.

• Supervise and mentor team members, encouraging their professional growth and development.

• Carry out other assigned duties.


⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree; advanced degree in business analytics, statistics, mathematics, or another quantitative field is preferred.

• Over 5 years of experience in an analytical position, ideally in sales analytics, operations, and/or business consulting within the pharmaceutical or medical device sectors.

• Familiarity with Definitive Healthcare, IQVIA, Symphony, Komodo, or related pharmaceutical claims data.

• Proficient in SQL and BI tools (Looker, Tableau, etc.) is essential.

• Strong business and technological insight; experience with Looker, Salesforce, and Veeva is a bonus.

• Demonstrated ability to achieve results in a cross-functional team setting.

• Exceptional critical thinking, problem-solving, interpersonal, and communication skills.

• Excellent organizational and project management abilities, with the capacity to multi-task, prioritize, and meet tight deadlines.
