Senior Manager, Retail Development

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Implement retail strategies that enhance the sell-in of licensed merchandise through key retail partners.

• Oversee daily interactions with retailers and licensees, with a focus on Walmart.

• Collaborate with licensees to drive sales of licensed products.

• Execute retail strategies within designated categories.

• Track retail performance and pinpoint opportunities to boost sales and distribution.

• Work alongside licensing category teams to facilitate product launches and retail activations with licensees.

• Ensure brand consistency and compliance across licensed products and retail displays.

• Conduct store visits and retail audits to uphold merchandising standards and discover new opportunities.

• Analyze sales data, market trends, and competitive activities.

• Partner with marketing, category, and franchise teams to support promotional campaigns.

⛳️ Requirements

• Must reside in the Bentonville, AR area.

• Bachelor’s degree required.

• Over 8 years of experience in retail, licensing, consumer products, or business development.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

• Capability to work independently with excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and follow-up.

• In-depth understanding of retail environments and merchandising strategies.

• Outstanding relationship management and communication abilities.

• Analytical mindset with experience in leveraging sales data to inform decisions.

• Prior experience with licensed brands or retail partnerships is preferred.

• Familiarity with entertainment, categories, and/or the retail industry is a plus.
