This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.
• Design, implement, and provide support for reimbursement products and processes throughout Innomar.
• Assist the Director of Reimbursement in the communication and positioning of reimbursement products.
• Offer reimbursement expertise to the New Business Development team.
• Create payer-specific prior authorization pathways and pinpoint opportunities for streamlining and automation.
• Spearhead the development and execution of advocacy, appeals toolkits, and conversion products.
• Oversee and provide guidance on best practices and processes for financial assistance navigation.
• Identify and advocate for innovative reimbursement solutions and strategic initiatives.
• Conduct market research on payer strategies and competitive best practices.
• Facilitate the sharing of best practices among Programs’ Reimbursement Specialists and Managers.
• Monitor reimbursement projects to enhance performance and achieve goals.
• Foster collaborative relationships with Programs, pharmacy, and Learning and Development.
• Review program data, verify coverage and reimbursement statuses, identify coverage challenges, and recommend procedural solutions.
• Create processes for tracking, reporting, and addressing emerging reimbursement issues.
• Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics for payer relations activities and generate reports for senior management.
• Bachelor’s degree.
• Over 5 years of experience in a Patient Support Program (PSP) or payer environment.
• Advanced understanding of the pharmaceutical industry.
• In-depth knowledge of Canadian public and private payer systems.
• Strong business and financial insight.
• Exceptional analytical and critical thinking abilities.
• Proficient in effective oral and written communication.
• Strong interpersonal and leadership capabilities; proven track record as a collaborator.
• Excellent organizational skills with keen attention to detail.
• Ability to consistently meet deadlines.
• Outstanding problem-solving capabilities.
• Excellent presentation skills.
• Extensive proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, and other Office applications.
• Strong familiarity with Customer Relationship Management (CRM) platforms.
