Senior Manager, Project Finance

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Idaho.

📋 Description

• Prepare and engage in the creation of presentations for the investment community aimed at securing project financing.

• Generate pro formas for solar and storage initiatives, including relevant assumption support and document evaluation.

• Construct financial models to assess project viability and profitability, providing go/no-go recommendations backed by thorough analysis.

• Compile due diligence materials, offering documentation for debt and equity transactions, and manage documentation for structured or project finance deals.

• Conduct analyses and put forth recommendations during monthly and quarterly investment reviews.

• Lead interactions with lenders and investors.

• Produce analyses and reports to enhance business operations.

• Collaborate with individual departments as well as cross-functional teams within the organization.

• Uphold organizational excellence regarding project timelines and deliverables.

• Perform additional duties as assigned.

⛳️ Requirements

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in finance, business, energy/environmental studies, or a related discipline.

• Experience:

• At least 7 years of experience in Capital Markets, Project Finance, and/or tax equity structures, or investment banking.

• A minimum of 5 years of experience in Project Finance within the US renewable energy sector.

• Technology: Competence in Microsoft Office Suite, with a willingness to learn company-specific software, tools, processes, and machinery.

• Skills/Attributes:

• Directs the structuring and implementation of intricate financing arrangements (debt, tax equity, mezzanine) across extensive renewable portfolios.

• Supervises the review and interpretation of term sheets, credit agreements, PPAs, EPC/O&M contracts, and tax equity documents.

• Holds financial oversight for various projects and portfolios, translating analytics into actionable insights for executive leadership and investment committees.

• Manages and mentors analysts and associates, establishing modeling standards and reviewing work for accuracy.
