This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Missouri.
• Accountable for overseeing and managing the data privacy compliance program to guarantee adherence to relevant policies and regulations throughout the organization.
• Act as the representative for the Privacy department in enterprise-level programs and initiatives.
• Cultivate and sustain relationships with cross-functional teams to foster a culture centered on privacy and compliance.
• Establish and execute standards and processes to ensure alignment with new and evolving privacy regulations.
• Oversee, track, and report on the performance of Enterprise Privacy vendors.
• Review and audit privacy compliance program processes and documentation to ensure alignment with company policies and regulatory obligations.
• Collaborate with other functional areas to resolve data privacy compliance issues and concerns affecting the business.
• Coordinate investigations into incidents related to data privacy and security.
• Develop, implement, and manage corrective actions to address incidents of non-compliance in data privacy.
• Create and maintain reporting metrics for the activities of the data privacy department.
• Conduct training sessions on data privacy requirements and policies.
• Mentor team members to enhance their knowledge and skills concerning data privacy program processes and requirements.
• Bachelor's Degree in Health Care Administration, Compliance, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• More than 7 years of experience in privacy compliance.
• At least 1 year of experience managing a compliance team focused on privacy policies, standards, regulations, and culture.
• A minimum of 1 year of working knowledge of HIPAA Privacy, Security, and Breach rule requirements.
• Experience in identifying, interpreting, and implementing new data and consumer privacy regulations.
• Experience with PCI, 42 C.F.R. Part 2, or State breach laws is preferred.
• Data privacy professional certification is preferred.
