This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Oversee the design, implementation, and delivery of real-world evidence studies and analyses that support Amgen’s pipeline and existing products.
• Contribute to the development of innovative analytic methods, capabilities, and tools that enable rapid, scalable, and reproducible real-world evidence.
• Utilize real-world data and CfOR analytical approaches to inform high-impact business decisions for various stakeholders.
• Effectively communicate important scientific information to diverse audiences.
• Foster collaborations and enhance awareness, understanding, and application of observational research methods among key partners.
• Generate insights and cultivate collaborations and capabilities related to disease-state epidemiology, treatment patterns, and medication safety.
• Doctorate degree and 2 years of relevant epidemiology and research experience, OR Master’s degree and 6 years of relevant research and scientific experience, OR Bachelor’s degree and 8 years of relevant research and scientific experience, OR Bachelor’s degree and 10 years of relevant research and scientific experience, OR High School diploma/GED and 12 years of relevant research and scientific experience.
• A doctorate in Epidemiology or a related field with substantial observational research content is preferred.
• Proven experience in designing, executing, and analyzing observational research studies within pharmaceutical and/or public health environments.
• Background in conducting research that supports drug development.
• Familiarity with secondary data systems, such as administrative claims, electronic medical records (EMR), and registries.
• Experience in planning and managing observational research projects.
• Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
• History of working with and leading interdisciplinary teams.
• Experience in dermatology research and/or other inflammatory therapeutic areas is preferred.
