• Take ownership of the financial workstreams related to DASCO's acquisition and joint venture initiatives from start to finish, encompassing due diligence through to post-close integration.
• Lead financial due diligence efforts for acquisition and de novo targets, which includes analyzing normalized/adjusted EBITDA, reviewing working capital, conducting quality-of-earnings assessments, and performing revenue cycle diligence tailored to HME/DME.
• Develop and maintain acquisition and forecasting models, providing support for purchase price allocation and preparing deal-level and consolidated forecasts for sponsor and board discussions.
• Create deliverables for buyers and sponsors, including responses to Q&A, management of data room materials, and preparation of presentation exhibits.
• Collaborate with the Director of FP&A and Controller to translate deal terms into forecasting and reporting implications, ensuring a seamless transition from diligence to the current management reporting framework.
• Monitor and report on pipeline status, deal economics, and milestones related to post-close integration (such as synergy capture, working capital adjustments, and earnout calculations) to the CFO.
• Cultivate relationships with external diligence providers (including QoE firms, legal advisors, and valuation experts) on a per-deal basis.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in private equity, investment banking (M&A/healthcare focus), or corporate development/M&A within an operating company.
• Proven capability to independently create financial models without reliance on existing templates.
• Advanced Excel skills appropriate for constructing diligence workbooks from raw data exports.
• Ability to work with considerable autonomy within a lean finance team, lacking the traditional deal-team structure (analysts, associates) found in private equity or banking settings.
• Preferred experience in healthcare services or related deals.
• Prior familiarity with joint venture structures, minority-interest accounting, or partnerships in hospital/health systems is advantageous.
• Knowledge of Brightree or similar HME/DME operating systems, or a proven ability to quickly adapt to industry-specific billing and reimbursement processes.
• Clearly defined pathway to a Director-level role as deal volume expands.
